For UPONU, sustainability is not a buzzword, but a logical technical principle. Centralized IT operations in modern data centers are significantly more energy-efficient than decentralized on-site hardware solutions at customer locations.

Through intelligent resource consolidation, virtualization, and our efficient cloud operations, we actively help reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions significantly.

Beyond that, we take social responsibility in many different areas and directions. We strengthen our home region of South Westphalia as an employer and deliberately support local clubs. At the same time, we are active in top-level motorsport - such as DTM - where we demonstrate our philosophy of teamwork and zero-defect tolerance.

We are also deeply involved in industry associations and initiatives such as ECHO eG, the Open Source Business Alliance (OSBA), and the Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS). In this way, we promote professional exchange, actively advance open standards, and help shape the framework for a sovereign digital economy with a future-oriented mindset.
